My life’s work has been about studying the voice and the humans who use it as their instrument. Over the years, that work has grown into the ASVS Technique and a studio designed to support the whole vocal athlete.
Singing remains at the heart of what we do, but your voice is connected to your body, breath, mind, words, movement, musicianship, and ability to communicate. That’s why ASVS offers training in voice, acting and performance, speech and text, instruments, songwriting, dance, and more. Whether you are preparing for your first audition, performing eight shows a week, stepping up to a microphone, or simply learning to use your voice with greater confidence, our goal is to give you the tools and support you need to grow.
At the center of it all is the ASVS Technique: an individualized, science-forward and holistic approach to understanding your instrument. We want to understand how YOU learn so we can teach you most effectively, help you uncover your vocal superpowers, recognize your challenges, and create a clear path for your continued artistry.

Private Voice Coaching
The ASVS Approach is designed to equip singers with the essential tools needed to grow into their strongest, most confident vocal selves. Training follows a consistent, replicable process that supports technical development across musical styles, emphasizing muscular awareness, breath coordination, and physical presence in service of emotional and artistic connection. Singers develop the ability to move fluidly between styles with clarity, musical specificity, dramatic truth, and dependable technique, building a fully present and expressive artist.
As part of The Voice Studio of Aimée Steele, singers are provided with all required sheet music and recorded piano accompaniments for their work in the studio. Students also benefit from access to Aimée’s professional network, along with opportunities for performance and continued artistic growth.

MOMS & YOUNG CHILDREN
Designed for babies from infancy through the pre-crawling stage, our Mommy & Me classes offer a playful introduction to music, rhythm, sound, and movement. These morning classes give babies and their grown-ups a joyful space to explore music together while supporting early development and connection.

SINGERS OF ALL AGES
Our small group vocal performance classes give singers the opportunity to practice performing in a supportive, low-pressure environment. Students sing in front of their peers, build confidence and stage presence, receive technical and performance instruction, and learn from watching others work.

Private Dance Classes
Our private dance lessons are designed specifically for singers and performers who want to build their movement skills and dance vocabulary in a supportive, one-on-one setting. Whether you’re preparing to step into more advanced dance classes or want to feel more confident walking into a dance call, lessons will focus on developing strong foundations, coordination, musicality, and confidence in movement.
Training is available in contemporary ballet, hip-hop, modern jazz, and musical theater, with each lesson tailored to your experience level and performance goals.

PUBLIC SPEAKERS
Aimée offers professional speech coaching. Focusing on breath work, diction, and pronunciation tools which improves public speaking and voice-over work across all industries. Aimée also works with foreign speakers to refine their accents and pronunciation of English. All lessons are available in person or over Zoom, Skype, and FaceTime.

ACTORS & PERFORMERS
Develop authentic, consistent dialects while exploring the sounds, rhythms, placement, and speech patterns that bring a character’s voice to life. Production coaching is also available for theaters and companies, providing individualized and ensemble support to keep dialect work cohesive and consistent across an entire production.
